He did NOT draw his gun first, he was still coming down the road, even blaring his horn for them to move, and instead, that SUV got right in his way to block him, while also being approached by a mob with rifles.
I guess in your mind, he should've simply gotten out of his truck unarmed, and accepted the candy that those peaceful protesters were handing out to everyone.
Yeah. I watched the video. No one even noticed him till he was standing on the runner with his gun drawn. THEN they approached him with their guns and told him to put his gun down.
In my mind, he should have backed up and turned around. I know that would have been hard on his good ol' boy ego, but it would have been the wisest thing to do.
