Initially I was involved, and even contributed to camping topics and some off topics, but life happened and I got all normie. I realized how much I liked the place. The format was simple and the community was rather close knit. I guess after lurking for SO long, I just didn't feel right commenting. Kinda like the weird quiet guy at work who never says anything, but always shows up to the company Christmas party...

After orgwhatever died you lurked BFF? Or you lurked there and then found here?

I don't know other places, I only know my places, and by my I mean, places I'm admin at. Some I'm more involved, some less, but that isn't at all important here. I don't know anything other than what I hear, not reliable.

Believe it or not, I found this place via forums forums board. It was recommended by a some of the names I recognized.
