The 86-year-old star — whose storied career includes the iconic roles of Professor X in the “X-Men” film series and Jean-Luc Picard in the “Star Trek” franchise — had spent quality time with loved ones before his passing.

“He has been held in the warm embrace of family and friends, surrounded by live music, prayer, tears, laughter, and the kind of profound emotion that only he could inspire after a lifetime of devotion to us all,” the statement said. “We will forever cherish the peaceful ease and reflection of his invincible grace.”

I always liked Patrick Stewart as a villain. He had a great role in Conspiracy Theory.

The more I would watch Patrick Stewart, the more I saw what an acting genius he was. He had to pretty much carry Jonathan Frakes throughout the seasons of Star Trek NG.

It was his delivery, his speech play, and that sexy British accent that didn't sound like Blandscape drowning in a vat of oatmeal. He was a true thespian. An artist.

On a different note, I always thought Patrick Stewart was a little fruity. Let me tell you why. It doesn't matter the decade, one thing is for sure, men do not know how to dress, especially for the red carpet. Patrick Stewart was one of those guys that looked fantastic in everything he wore. Now we could chalk this up to a good stylist, yet these other Hollywood morons have armies of stylists, and every fucking year at the red carpet, there's at least 7 male actors that look like fucking shit. I'm like why even pay for a stylist? Why not just recruit one of Admin.'s hobos and pay him to be a "stylist?" But not Patrick Stewart, that man could dress, and he even had me ohhhing and ahhhing.

Maybe he is gay and I missed it, but that's to be expected.
