The only one thats made me more of an asshole in life is my ex husband. Online is just that online except the few friends I've met on here and eventually met in real life. They mean so much to me but other than them online is just to past time, have some laughs, and collect recipes. I love to cook, just wish I was good at it lol. I just can't take it personal. It makes me giggle especially when I try to take serious some of the more negative crowd acting/being all serious. Lol. Just silly immature people.

Nope... I keep in mind that people have differing opinions. I try not to take it to heart.. If I do find myself slipping into "the dark side" IRL because of forum opinions, twitter post. etc.. I take a break.. Which I have done frequently.. Helps :)

I have gotten anxiety from nastiness online knocking at my real life door.

I get busy in life and take breaks. Then its rough to switch gears when I start posting again.

I think it depends on the person. For some people, having a place like this helps them compartmentalize. Others maybe start identifying inappropriate places where that behavior can be expressed

Nope, but the other way around it does: talking to real/normal people in RL keeps my faith in humanity up to the normal level. If I would only have a look here, I would probably get very depressed
