Honestly, I think the confederate statues should all be put in a museum that spells out the history. There is a slavery museum in Liverpool, where many slave ships sailed from. That museum told the story very effectively.
As far as the wokeness and cancel culture, those things did go too far. A lot of people became vigilantes. it is always preferable, imo, to educate and transform rather than seek revenge.
That being said, the right remains far more despicable and guilty of worse shit than the left. Especially when we're talking about the actual left, not Clinton's sold out "left."
