Clearly the Beatles made the right move hiring Ringo, but OMG poor Pete Best, what a heartbreak to live your life with.

Pete Best is a whiner.

He was not good enough to be in the band and as they got better, he did not.

Ringo, on the other hand, was exactly what they needed. He took great songs and made them better. His ability to add the perfect rhythm patterns and fills to songs elevated The Beatles' music to heights that would never have been possible with a drummer like Pete Best.
