Yet where I live, it seems like a microcosm of the US

A Right/Left Divide. The cities vote Left, the rural areas & suburbs vote Right.

A population divided by stark ideological differences, tho not nearly as strident as in the US.

In our case, the Left won but just barely.

So...I wonder if this will be the outcome on Election Day in the US with the Democrats hanging on by the skin of their teeth?

Should be quite a finish.
