He's in the lead at the moment.
Conservatives are behind in 2nd.
But Trudeau lost a lotta support lately.
Maybe he'll lose support if COVID cases keep climbing or the public thinks he called the election far too soon.
We just had an election in 2019. So it's not even 2 years.
That'd be like the Americans going to the polls next year even tho they had an election in 2020.
Hard to say what the final result will be. Probably a minority government again.
Even tho the Conservatives lack appeal & their leader is uninspiring, I agree that the country can't keep on spending like it is.
They should cut spending & even if they don't win, might still be good to have a decent Tory presence to contain the Liberals ambitions to overspend.

Actually, that was part of a negative attack ad...and oddly it backfired on the Conservatives.
It had the opposite effect of making the Guy more popular and giving him more votes.
His Opponent seems like a Nice Guy...but he does have a bit o Hair problem:

You know Dovey, when your daughters reach your age, they'll probably be begging these poor countries to have abortions or for the USA and other nations to send birth control to contain the coming refugee crisis.
Perhaps abortion is brutal, but the alternative isn't that great either.
BTW, world population will surpass 8 billion next year, 1billion added in less than 15 years.
And the 'experts' told us world population would start to decrease soon.
