I beg to differ. There's no way all of those players are calling a 4 bet. With a small pocket pair you're trying to narrow the field, and protect your small pocket pair. So getting to heads up play is the goal. Then you're looking for a gracious flop, turn and river.

You're just, not, getting it. Someone there has AA, and the other three have a high pair or suited connectable cards, which is why they called the initial x3 bet. For you to then try to come over the top of all four by raising the initial 3 bet raise by another 4 times with a small hand tells me all I need to know about your play style and general intelligence...
