You're judging him for not typing out what takes 5, 10, 15 minutes to say?
I don't fully articulate my points all the time because no one wants to read scroll bombs. I like listening to his point of view.
I don't think speaking for 10 minutes articulately is lazy. He makes his points and supports them.

As for accents being impacted by the people around you, you have no idea. I was sometimes told I sounded Chilean and my ex-husband sounded Mexican. See, he worked around a bunch of Mexicans and it changed his accent and his slang. I only really spoke Spanish around my Chilean in-laws, apparently I picked up their slang and accent.
It happens without us even realizing it.
