The President of Mexico is having a review done of the 2 million American expats living there. If any of their documentation wasn't filed properly, they are going to be deported in response.

I feel sorry for all the people being screwed over by these potential mass deportation policies.

That's horrible. So many of those people are also economic refugees, just like the Mexicans going to the US. Such a flawed economic system, worldwide. With all of the money floating around the planet, no one should be suffering from poverty, imo.

I have a friend who's been in Mexico for 30 years. I have no idea if his papers are in order, but since he went there when the laws were very different, they might not be. He would have no place to go in the US.
