Of course, there probably was a minor amount of fraud and irregularities but not enough to flip any election. The commission would probably also do what several previous commissions did and recommend ID checks as a security measure, outlawing ballot harvesting (illegal in most states but legalized in a few blue states), and curtailing absentee voting as it is the most likely place where fraud can be committed.

I think there should be partisan support for a national ID card for every citizen in America. It should be given for free, much like our social security cards are free.

We likely have not had massive problems with fraud. That said, this is an easy way to set everyone's mind at ease and it would take away the Republican talking point. Yet dems resist it even as bipartisan commissions say it should be done and is done in virtually all other first world countries. It makes you wonder why dems are so adamantly against it, huh?

I'd also like to point out that Dems have been trying to make it legal for illegal aliens to vote in state and local elections. Yet there is only one ballot with all races on it including federal races. So that is pretty much proof positive dems know illegal aliens are voting and that is what they are trying to encourage.

I think permanent residents can get SSNs and yet aren't eligible to vote. Only citizens are. That would be my guess.

Ahhh ok. I see. I thought this was something new they just started here in SC in 2019. They said that anyone in the military or government agency is required to have a star on their drivers license. Also, in order to be able to fly or obtain a passport you have to have that star on your driver's license. I don't think its strictly for military personnel because any civilian can have one and require it if they decide to travel by flight.

No. Look it up. Its called a South Carolina "REAL ID". Everyone that is in the military or that wants to travel/obtain a passport has to have one by 2021.

Real I.D. was a federal law. It was made in response to California and a few other states deciding to give driver's licenses to illegal aliens so the Feds passed a new law requiring people to prove their citizenship and identity on all such I.D. cards.

It is worth noting that California's ever corrupt and incompetent one party Democrat government gave several million Driver's licenses to illegals with no verified identity papers at all (so we don't know if they are who they say they are) and despite saying it wouldn't happen the state then automatically registered each and every one of those illegals up to vote under the state's motor voter law. Which is against Federal law.

So pardon me if I no longer believe dems claims that illegals are not voting and that dems are absolutely doing everything they can to get them voting and making it as easy as possible for legal aliens to illegally vote. There actions make their intentions perfectly clear.

That doesn't mean these people actually voted but it does show the problem is real and actually exists. Yet for decades Dems have blocked any and all attempts to clean this problem up. At some point you have to take them at face value and realize Dems like things this way and are intentionally not fixing this problem.
