These people are getting back at the West by demystifying the Hermes, Prada, etc. products in a "tariff this bitch" campaign.

Apparently, these $38k Birkin bags made by Hermes cost about $1400 in materials, which is expensive for a handbag, but the profit margin is astronomical. They're shipped to France with out the logo, that Hermes holds onto for obvious reasons.

Then they say they'll sell the same purse without the logo for $1k. Even with a 100% tariff, they will still cut out the luxury item "maker".

I think it's hilarious.

I think they don't spend $1400 when it's purchased in bulk. I also know that they are subsidized by the government in ways that companies in other countries aren't.

Anything to become the #1 economy, but the West is my guess.
