Trump booed at Alabama rally after telling supporters to get vaccinated
Allan Smith
Sun, August 22, 2021, 5:29 PM

Former President Donald Trump was booed at a rally Saturday in Alabama after he told supporters they should get vaccinated.
"And you know what? I believe totally in your freedoms. I do. You've got to do what you have to do," Trump said. "But I recommend take the vaccines. I did it. It's good. Take the vaccines."

Some boos rang out from the crowd, who were largely maskless.

Trump loves to be adored, though. Any bets on how long it will be before he starts saying he regrets getting the vax, and that no one should get it after all?

Who cares? I'm not against people getting the vax
I just personally don't want it. If I was old or had health problems especially breathing problems I might consider taking it. My dad got it and he's 78. He said if he had to do it over he wouldn't have gotten it. After the second dose he was sick for like one day lol.

He was sick for one day? And that's why he regrets getting it? LOL

I got it because I had Covid and I have long Covid now and it just sucks. Now they are saying if you had Covid AND the vax, you are extra specially protected. I'm all for that. I don't want to ever get it again.

It seems some of Trump's supporters are pissed at him, though. LMAO

Yea my dad is one of those people who has never been sick hardly his whole life. I had Covid and was sick for about 3 days and got better then a week later I lost my appetite for food for about 2 weeks.
I'm sure they'll be all sorts of variants released upon us for who knows how long.

Also I know a girl that got the flu shot every year her whole life and most every year got the flu anyway. Then a few years ago she decided to stop getting the flu shot and as of last I heard she hasn't contracted the flu since.

If you’re had Covid, then it’s pointless getting the vaccine anyway as you have some immunity now.

I haven't had a flu shot since I was a kid. Sometimes I get the flu, sometimes I don't.

This long covid thing is the worst for me. Covid was like a very weird flu for about 2 1/2 weeks. Not the worst thing in the world. This long shit is awful, though. I'm really over it.

When you say this “long shit” as such, are you sure it’s not ongoing complications from the actual vaccine that you took? I can’t recall which vaccine that you said you took or if you took one at all?

Well, yes, because I've had this since I had Covid, long before the vaccine was available. Like 8 months before I got the vaccine.

I got the J&J.

It's possible to get Covid more than once, so yeah, they give everyone a vaccine. They were only not giving them to people who had very recently had Covid and so still had antibodies, but I think that was only a restriction when they were first rolling out the vaccine.

J&J, I don't know. I think they all can have scary side effects, and I'm not at all anxious to get a booster, but I didn't want to get this damn thing again, and I didn't want to be a carrier, either.

You can get blood clots with J&J .....but pretty much every possible adverse event is the same with any vaccine.

There isnt a single medical intervention free of risk.

Your odds of dying or being injured in a car wreck or greater than having an adverse response from a conventional vaccine.

Imagine if everyone who had a car wreck was on the internet talking about the dangers of cars. See my point?

Yeah I stopped pointing that out a long time ago with leftists.

It was actually anti Trumpers who were blasting the vaccine and saying they wouldnt take it. Then when Biden took office they flipped.

Not with me...my chances are greater getting blood clots from a vaccine than having a car accident. I live every day aware that one day I could get a stroke or suffer a heart attack from MVP/Barlow syndrome. Anyone with this condition or blood clot abnormalities running in their families need to seek proper advice from a cardiologist.

I mean there are always people who cannot be vaccinated.....I'm just talking about all the stuff people are saying about the vaccine.

Imagine if this same thing was happening regarding the risk of driving cars. Like if people were spreading awareness about automobile related deaths and injuries.....like they are doing about the vaccine.

And we were getting videos, pictures and testimonials from everyone hurt in car accidents.

There would be SO MANY pouring in everyday that the vaccine wouldnt seem all that dangerous and scary in comparison.

On a general level for most people, the risk of death or injury on the car ride to get the vaccine is greater than the risk of a vaccine.

I'm just saying, with every decision we make, we are using a risk:benefit ratio whether we are aware or not. Every choice is made because we decided the risks were lower or greater than the benefits.

I decided for my 16 year old who has a heart mur mur.....right now, the risks could outweigh the benefit. So while her sister was able to get the J&J, her only option is Pfizer so we are waiting. Just like you said for yourself, your risk outweighs your benefits because you have an underlying issue that makes vaccination more risky for you.

My mother has mitrol valve prolapse, she takes meds for it everyday. She went with J&J under the advice of her doctor. She has other issues as well and Covid carries more risk for her than the vaccine does. If you are not at a high risk from Covid complications.....you probably wouldnt take the vaccine.

In all the partisan excitement people seem to forget or just disregard that science isnt so black and white here and it's really not wise or nessesary to vaccinate EVERYONE.

And peoples medical decisions are really no one else's concern.

I do.

You just call everything I say partisan if you disagree with it. You take a pretty bad faith approach. Everyone on the left does today.
