This is a huge subject and a good one to. It just reminded me there was a headmaster in the eastern states of Australia who ordered the kids (primary school kids) who had to do household chores for homework. I thought that was very clever of him.

I know it would be hard. But I love little kids and one on one I taught little kids things and watching their face have light bulb moments was magic.

So when she visited, I did what I always do and gave the 4 yr old a piece of paper and a pencil and said, "Freya, draw me a butterfly," her mum said, "she can't draw a butterfly." I said "yes she can, draw me a butterfly Freya".. and she did.

I could not believe her mother was clueless on her own daughters abilities.
