I gotta disagree on that one. I think he showed how ineffective he is.

I supposed we shall see how it plays out. Im honestly just hoping the US gets Greenland.

And im geeked to see the Islamic occupation in Iran destroyed.

Think about it though over the decades... when the Soviet Union dissolved, Russia went through hell for quite awhile but emerged hopeful they could be a part of the West... they even expressed interest in joining NATO. Russia was a young hopeful child on the world stage.... BUT the West didn't want them. They wanted to plunder Russia... so reluctantly, Russia went it alone... BUT the West wasn't content with that... so they started fomenting disorder along its borders, joining up Nordic countries to NATO, using NGO's within Russia.... while putting in heaps of biolabs in close proximity to Russia.

Then Victoria Nuland and Co overthrew an elected official of the Ukraine via a colour revolution, installed a puppet government and dangled NATO membership at Ukraine (read missiles on Russia's border)... ultimately culminating first with the bombings of Eastern Ukraine (ethnic Russians), then the outlawing of Russian text and use of the language and the Christian Orthodox Church....

Russia did a limited operation in Luhansk, Donetsk, and Crimea (their base). It's sat on its hands until very recently (hypersonic MRV missiles, power grid attacks, NATO backed munitions depots and training centres).

Russia could have leveled Ukraine 10 years ago WITHOUT nukes or boots on the ground.

I support Russian actions (in THIS conflict). It doesn't mean I think Putin is Mr Roger's Neighbourhood.....but he's human. He can do great things and equally horrible things.... just like Trump.

Putin doesn't want to be part of the west at all. I know past leaders had their own positions on it but Putin wants to expand for the betterment of Russia. He doesnt want to level Ukraine. He views Ukraine as part of Russia. He wants a Russian empire.

Have you seen the sheer size and scope of resources Russia is/has?

He doesn't want or need to expand it... just keep it intact.
