YOU SURE ABOUT THAT?Venezuela has a working power grid!
PS, Cali has been on rolling blackouts for several years now.
Its a blackout when you lose all power in your house, liar.PS, Cali has been on rolling blackouts for several years now.
Not rolling blackouts. Liar. Brownouts.

LMFAO! People dont have power. Simple, really.PS, Cali has been on rolling blackouts for several years now.
Your post is inaccurate as fuck. The power companies cut the power for fear of wild fires.

So whats more pathetic, a natural disaster that breaks shit in Texas or a situation where enviro wackjobs prevent the proper maintenance of powerlines which causes a fire, which the state then sues the power company into bankruptcy, thereby causing the power company to then shut down the power when the winds reach 30MPH?
I'd say Cali punching itself in the face is worse. Did you know there was a run on portable generators for more than a year due to this Cali shit fest?

Venezuela has a working power grid!
No, their power grid has only worked part of the day for years now. Blackouts are a daily event.
Sorry tard. Losing power for a couple of weeks due to a natural disaster doesnt equate to losing power for years because you wont allow the power company to maintain the equipment.Venezuela has a working power grid!

That is still more power than some Texans have lol.
Besides the issue with Venezuela is money and corruption. The issue with Texas is that everyone has been brainwashed into voting for a party that acts against their own interests.
Either way, no other state is being even compared to Venezuela. All other states resolve their power issues very quickly because they are on the federal grid. I certainly didn't lose any power. Had hot water running with 3ft of snow outside and below zero temps.
Other southern states had snow too. They didn't shut down. They're fine. TX is the only state not abiding by federal regulations.

Actually, it IS like Texas got insane cold and an ice storm on top of that. What your dumb ass doesnt understand is that the vast majority of electrical equipment sold south of Illinois doesnt have extreme cold packaging. Go look at the options on a backup generator, fool! And BTW, I had a delivery to Kentucky delayed by 4 days because they're all fucked up too!One blackout that lasts over a week is a lot worse than momentary blackouts due to natural disaster.
A winter storm is weather.
Fire is a natural disaster.
It's not like Texas got some insane cold and snow. It was much snowier and much colder where I live and life moved on without the power grid shutting down. Nowhere in the world does the power grid stay on when there's a fire.
And the funny thing is that both are caused by lack of regulation. Except CA actually did something to fix the problem and TX, well... is TX. They do everything bigger in Texas. Including fucking up.
It's not the first time they got cold/snow either. They were just too stupid and didn't prepare like the rest of the US. If FL and Hawaii have their energy plants winterized, TX can do the same.
