Women don't really belong on the frontlines of policing. That's why the RCMP only hired men well into the 1970's, typically big prairie boys that wouldn't hesitate to club you over the skull if you got out of line.

That said, my Mother was RCMP, but in surveillance. That is a job more suitable for females and men of small stature, since you're not dealing with the general public and are always undercover.
