A 6 minute polemic on Picard but this covers most modern cinematic and TV endevours and why they are shit. Not a big fan of the critical drinker but he fucking nails it here and it applies to everything not just sci-fi.

- More platforms than ever for content.
- Anyone can be a producer.
- Any 'producer' (lottery cash) with contacts can get green lit/distribution.
- Writers have no imagination and borrow (as the music industry artists do) from our nostalgia.
- They hope to sucker you in w strong advertisement/week content.
- Ratings are all that matters.
