They’re very private animals. I’ve seen two of them in 25 years I’ve lived here.

Would never own a wild animal as a pet.. but if I hadda... These little guys are cute AF Pygmy Marmoset

Lots of those around my region

They're really easy to capture too and if you get a young one, they grow up to make fine pets

The only problem is that they stink

I managed to take a few pics years ago, but the camera was really shitty and you couldn't get much closer without scaring them away

This is close to my city home and people used to put feeders for them, there were many groups roaming the woods and they were starting to mess the garbage bags looking for food and some were even entering people's backyards to get fruit

But since you're not supposed to mess with wildlife here, the city prohibited people from feeding them and they started capturing some of the groups and moving them to wooded areas far from the boroughs
