It really is. I try to get away from it here, but literally everyone I know and meet here, whether they are Portuguese or from some other European country or England or Brazil or an African country or wherever, wants to talk about how terrifying and stupid Trump is. It's exhausting, for sure.

And my daughter has a job that puts her in kind of a direct conflict with this White House, so I always worry about her losing that job. It would be disruptive and hurtful for her.
