Yet when those wires are going to Solar and Wind power not so much eh?
Even if you stopped EVERY single bit of fossil fuel burning right this minute, it is toooooo late.

Doubtless we've done a lor of damage but I doubt if it's irreperable yet.
It will be by the time anything is done though so there is that.
And the turbines used to generate the power have to be manufactured and have a shelf life.
You were saying?
I have this fool arguing against hydroelectricity.
One of the cleanest forms of electricity production known to man.
This is about virtue signalling, not about concern for the environment.
No more needs to be said.
5.7 litre
On several waiting lists for a car with a 6.2 litre engine. So that may change soon.
What part of the car does the dam power?
I can't wait till all you guys have to replace those engines with batteries.
Oh the humanity
As the batteries aren't the best yet (or weren't 10 years ago) I forewent a Tesla and installed the system on a couple of VW Beetles. Great for zipping round the local vicinity. Accelerates like a motherfucker.
Post proof. Lying ass mofo

Proof of what? There's as much proof there in favour of recycling solar panels as any of the misinformed chatter about them being a landfill problem. Nobody postrd any 'proof' to back up that argument they just stated an opinion which as you know is like an arsehole with everybody having one.
So I call a PKB against my delightfully polished kettle.

no one here has said you cannot recycle solar panels.... I said wind turbines cannot be recycled and Prowler posted proof.
This section is for IMAGES of our environment.... If you want to continue, you should start another thread, maybe in politics... it's a specialist subject, without an end.
This isn't a game.
once the battery tech improves
Holy shit! We did not even get into the lithium mining that is scarring the Earth and burning tonnes of fossil fules (and promoting slave labour).
the carbon footprint of my recycled solar panels and the windfarm to that of fossil fuel usage
Yeah, there is a lot of fossil fuel usage to produce the solar panels. Then the shipping, installation, etc.
I wonder if you will ever break even.
Prowler.... Western Australia will be supplying the globe with lithium...
This made for interesting reading after all the shite being talked about solar panels having a considerable environmental impact.
Prowler said.
The solar panels had to be manufactured somewhere. Carbon emissions in that process.

Yet nobody's mentioned Solar?
Ok.
The panels still have to be manufactured, and the lithium will still be needed for to store the electricity. So my points stand.

Your point stands until we come up with something better.
This is better.
That's the point.

Forever?
The same people who say "Fossil fuels will run out!!!" never seem to think "Lithium will run out!!!"
so there lays the dilemma
