Of course higher bank fees lead to affordable gasoline!

Honestly, I don't have to worry about overdraft fees. I don't have a cash flow problem. I feel sorry for those that live so close to the edge that do.

Unless, you're one of them and voted for him...then, go fuck yourself. You made his happen to you.

Not my country @The Question but what I would have voted for if I were an American is either a Harris Presidency with a Republican Congress or Trump with a Democratic Congress.

If none of these parties can be trusted, why give either a blank cheque?

I would have put them both a leash so they couldn't do too much damage or ram an unpopular agenda through.

However, I can't vote in the USA
Trump won the popular vote; by any non-partisan measure, that would prompt an acknowledgment that his agenda is popular. Basic logic, that. But basic logic eludes many on this board.

I have two credit unions, I haven’t paid a fee in years

Last fee was an overdraft fee when I brain farted years ago, they quickly reversed when I called and gave them my sob story

He didn't even break 50%.

That means a majority of American did not, in fact, support him.

Trump saying on continuous loop ‘overwhelming mandate by the American people’ does not make it true

Between you me and the fence post , Trump sometimes embellishes truth a bit.

, which read, “DONALD J. TRUMP OFFICIALLY LOST THE 2024 POPULAR VOTE FOR POTUS.”

In comments, the user explained that since Trump did not receive at least 50% of all votes cast, he had lost the popular vote.

But this is a misunderstanding of how the popular vote is measured.

In order to win the popular vote, a candidate must only receive more votes than any other single candidate — that is, a plurality of votes. They need not win the majority of all votes cast.

I don't care if you continue to lie to yourself, but kindly refrain from lying to me.

I didn't say he didn't win the popular vote. I said he didn't win the votes of the majority of voters. You can win the popular vote without winning the majority of voters, stupid.

Then what was the point of making that statement in response to me pointing out that he won the popular vote? Why throw out a non sequitur, then turn around and acknowledge that it was irrelevant? Who did you think you'd trick by doing that?

Winning the popular vote doesn't mean his agenda is popular. Most voters DID NOT vote for him.

Ho-lee dogshit. Try to follow along, simpleton:

More voters voted for Trump than for any other single candidate.

That's how 'the popular vote' works. A fact as elementary as that should be within even your incredibly limited mental reach.

On second thought? No. You go right on being retarded. Lose. I hope all Democrats are as pig-fucking-ignorant as you are and carry right along being so. Lose the next election. Lose the next sixteen. Stay fucking stupid and bigoted.

But more voters voted for other candidates, Harris, Stein, Haley, etc...so MOST voters, people that voted, did not vote for him.

He denied it.

Project 2025 defined it. He was on board with the project til he saw it would cost him the election. Then he lied through his fucking teeth about it every day til the election.

Now we are here.

I wonder why no one is pointing out that DOGE itself needs public oversight

They use cases of fraud to justify slashing programs but what about the ones that may be working and are efficient?.

Ie - school lunch programs for children?

The inefficiency and waste may not be as horrendous as they claim and yet some departments or programs may get eliminated even if they are being well run
Plus, DOGE is probably COSTING taxpayers more than they are saving us.
