Yes that is an upturned washing machine drum used as a brazier. When the spring gets going so will my improvised BBQ grill.

Also later in the year on the left we have blackberries, hazelnut tree and a damson tree.

Good thread
I shall participate, unfortunately I don’t start the cleanup until mid April and there’s so much mud this year …

It's been raining like crazy the last two days.

My plants that did okay over our mild winter are looking great. I should take a picture of my freesias. They're gorgeous.

I fertilize the grass as the summer progresses but last summer depression kept me away from chores so this year it’s all suffering

This thread has me JACKed for spring

We were starting Spring a couple of weeks back, now it's been raining and even hailing an hour ago.

Well, it's CA and we need the water, so I welcome the rain.

Thank you my friends. Something I found interesting, and easier in the rainy season

What are your plans for the garden?
Not much as most done. it was overgrown when I moved in. I hacked a few hazelnut trees and trunks down and burnt on brazier to get more sunlight in. When spring sprouts it'll look better and I've trimmed some of the growth to grow into a hedge. I may be moving in a couple of months now its all sorted lol. Few more logs for the brazier that is all, I may shift it out the way if I am still here.

Neighbours plot other side of fence has all the fruit and veg growing.

If you're moving there’s no use investing more time and resources in it.

I was at my gardening meeting this morning. I'm excited about getting back in the dirt, myself.

Next to my flat is a car park, when the leafs come out you cant see it and not much noise anyway. Will post a leafed up picture to compare in due time.

Tomatoes are in and growing already, herbs are doing great, Jalapenos, Serranos and Anaheim peppers are springing back from overwintering.

Many flowering plants have been in bloom for weeks now. The freesias were especially stunning this year. It's been a lovely spring.

We love both the vegetable and ornamental plants. I'm looking forward to the long growing season.
