Sometimes I'll be doing my online thing, not necessarily here but on another forum and I'll say "damn, I missed it!".

And my wife will look up from her cooking or whatever she happens to be doing and she expresses some concern and says "what did you miss Darling?". And I'll say "I missed the "No edit tag deadline again!". And she'll say something comforting and reassuring which sometimes helps a bit but not always, depending on the context of the particular edit.

It's a "admin customizable" setting, anywhere from zero to infinity.

Here I guess it's a few minutes. Gonna go back and try an edit on that earlier post and see if the tag shows up.

Edited to add. On the other post the edited tag shows up. It was 6 minutes after posting. Here it probably won't show up.
