From your mouth to God's ears.
Oh he’s listening…..as is America and the world-
Ah, epistemic closure, our old friend, appears to have captured the mostly hidden “Vice President” under the current administration. Yes, hillbilly elegy fan fic writer JD Vance, aka James Donald Bowman who self identifies as “James David Vance”, took to Twitter on April 1st looking for some love from daddy Trump, only to find his second favorite kink: humiliation via public dragging.
Vance
(in a now edited but not identified as edited tweet):
“Kyle Cheney, a "legal affairs reporter" is apparently unable or unwilling to look at the facts here. In 2019, an Immigration Judge (under the Biden administration) determined that the deported man was, in fact, a member of the MS-13 gang…. “ blah blah…….
Only to be absolutely pummeled for peddling the false information that Biden was president in 2019 (an oddly favorite bit of misinfo the right loves to spread when it suits them).
Naturally, he didn’t just get who was president wrong. After all, it’s been five and a half-ish years since 2019, which is only three years after he called Donald Trump Hitler.
Oh, the mind forgets things.
Vance also doesn’t understand the difference between being a “convicted gang member” and an informant claiming someone is a gang member. “Vance, mocking
for not reading the court filing, says the deported man was a “convicted” gang member The court filing does not say that. It says he was denied bond in 2019 over an informant’s claim he was in MS-13. That’s not a conviction,” Kyle Cheney
to the Vice President.
There were errors in their March 15 flight determinations. Like we all knew there would be. So, that seems kinda important. Or, it would be if this administration cared about things like due process, law and order, or America’s standing in the world.
It’s also notable that Vance doesn’t understand the difference between an accusation and a conviction, because he is the VP to a convicted felon. He might want to look “convicted” up one day. And also, Mike Pence fleeing J6 for good measure.
Poor Vance…..facts are hard
Apparently, when you are taken to Appalachia over summers and for funerals as a kid long enough to write a book as if you grew up there, it can ruin your mind. (No, his grandparents didn’t live there anymore, they’d moved to Ohio. He was visiting
extendedfamily.)
The
s, because an Ohio paper had to dive into where Vance is really from:
In Southwestern Ohio, the Appalachian region includes Clermont County.
Middletown, the Butler County city where Vance spent , is not in Appalachia.
A lot of people from Appalachia were
at what they saw as Vance’s mischaracterization of the region, but that’s just because they don’t understand that Vance doesn’t treat reality like the rest of us do. He just says what works for him, what is beneficial for him at the moment. It doesn’t need to be true.
Facts are hard for J Douche Dunce, you see…..
The idea of the Trump administration is they’ve chosen people just like their base, people who don’t know anything about government, don’t understand media literacy and don’t know how to vet claims or that there is even a process by which to fact check. So for these people, mistakes like this are understandable. They do not have higher standards for people being paid to do these jobs; rather, they’ve been carefully trained to cheer relentless incompetence as a win for the people.
JD Vance doesn’t know who was president in 2019? Meh! To be expected. Trump’s “DUI” Department of Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth shared highly classified war plans in a Signal chat that put our troops in direct harm? No biggie! Relax, libs.
Competence and hard work are the purview of the Left now. The Right is knee deep in its ‘Trump is a shameless, lazy, lawless, incompetent creep just like us!’ phase.
The Trump administration’s race to the bottom is too consistent to not be deliberate. And Peter Thiel protégé JD Vance is the perfect face for the gross, bloated incompetence that characterizes Trump 2.0.
Vance doesn’t even care if he’s wrong. The only thing that matters is abusing enemies of Trump in an effort to get daddy’s approval, which we saw to great global disgrace as he boot-licked Trump by attacking Putin’s enemy (and therefore, apparently, Trump’s enemy) Zelenskyy in the Oval Office with
It turns out a short career as a venture capitalist does not a Vice President make. File this totally new information under the “businessmen make horrible presidents and destroy the USA for everyone but the rich” heading.
