In reality, the so-called "deal" with the UK is a complete farce. Trump has already revealed that the overall 10% tariff will remain in place. It's a PR stunt gussied up as a masterstroke of negotiation because he's desperate for the illusion of a win.
Trump claims that Britain is going to increase market access for American exports, but many of the details have yet to be hammered out. Tellingly, most Americans and British citizens are unsure if Trump will even abide by the "deal."
A POLITICO-Public First poll from last month found that less than 1/3 of British citizens and only 44% of Americans believe that Trump will keep his word. His long history of backtracking, lying, and reneging on deals had made him a deeply unreliable partner.
More telling still, 25% of Trump's own voters believe that his instability constitutes the biggest stumbling block for negotiations.

Of course, just about every reputable economist agrees that the tariffs are an abject disaster. They're shrinking the economy, causing shortages, and tanking the stock market.

"MSDNC has become the Voice of the Democrat Party, and they should be treated as a Political Advocate with all of the Taxes and Penalties therefrom," Trump added. "Their Ratings are terrible, but Brian Roberts and his crew should be forced to TELL THE TRUTH. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!"
This final piece of his outburst is yet another attack on the free press and the First Amendment. Trump wants us to live in a world where we are denied access to truthful information, with only his deranged propaganda polluting air. We cannot allow that to happen.
