We can discount that American Criminal Libertines Union report right from the jump; there is no such thing as an 'undocumented immigrant'.

Immigration is a legal process which results in documentation. If you don't go through the process that gets you the documentation, you are not an immigrant.

I do not blame anyone for trying to make a better life when the life they are living in their mother country has become untenable. Making someone a criminal for doing their best to survive is just not the way to deal with this issue.

Yes, there should be immigration laws, and yes, people should follow them. But there ALSO should be laws in place everywhere in the world that make it impossible to exploit workers and that make it illegal to start wars in order to obtain natural resources from a country.

See how this works? At the root of most migration is economics. Deal with the economics so people aren't forced to flee their countries due to war and extreme poverty. The problem has to be fixed at its core. Don't blame the most powerless. Blame the powerful who cause these issues in the first place.
