The Best and Worst Mods.

What are your opinions on past and current mods? I'm only including mods for this generation. Older members that you may remember may not be included. Please do not complain that this list is loaded, because it isn't. If you want to add mods, then go start your own thread. Please include a reason why you voted the way you did.

Ahem, let's get down to it shall we?

My vote for the worst mod goes to none other than, Alticus. My reasons. To be a mod one must know the overall temperature of the forum on a daily basis, as it changes. What Alticus never got, because he was soo enamored with the title of "mod" is that being a mod holds certain key responsibilities, and duties. One fundamental responsibility was working the panel in a way that showed a certain proficiency. Let me be the first one to say of all panels, BF's are the most user unfriendly. With that being said, Lily had no issues once she was walked through and could operate her panel without a ticket to tech support, unlike Failticus, who couldn't work a panel to save his retarded life. Not only that, but P.I.ticus also broke the most fundamental rule as to being a mod, which is safe guarding, and protecting sensitive information pertaining to every single user out here. Tardicus has shown a tendency to go down the P.I. route, this won't be the first or the last time. Lastly, a mod should be at least sentient when it comes to interacting with posters. Spamticus can't even debate why the sky is blue without digressing into some homoerotic tangent, or starts showing his true colors as a fucking perv. These are the reasons Alticus gets my vote for worst mod.

Now we come to the highlight of this post. Who is/was the best mod? For me this a no brainer, it's realgrimm. Sure it's a stupid name, and the guy's a quack, but he's a pretty good mod. He doesn't interfere in threads, he just pm's Bastard Factory with a pic of his mutilated dick from all those times realgrimm went all emo when it rained one fateful day. He's pretty good at answering questions in a clear not always concise manner, but I'll overlook that. I think what makes grimm a stellar mod is that you never know the psycho is there. He's like Jason Voorhees from Friday The 13th. Motherfucker just pops up without saying a word. He can be funny at times when he's not being a bleeding heart to shit he can't change, along with him buying Marijuana products that have the very chemicals he himself rails against, but I won't hold that against him. Overall, grimm is a really, really great moderator and Bastard Factory's personal penis cleaner.

The reason I was both the best and the worst Mod is the same:
I wasn't actually a Mod at all.
Sure, I didn't goderate or violate any boundaries or any of that stuff (because I couldn't have if I wanted to) but on the other hand what I did do was fuckall (because I couldn't have done anything else if I wanted to).

I agree that @Alticus is the worst moderator on the list because of his propensity to invade the privacy of the members by splattering PI and then while maintaining he did nothing wrong, he deletes it and dismisses the whole thing with a half hearted apology. Add to that his agonizing indecisiveness when it comes to actually, um moderating. He's easily bullied and challenged, and he backpeddles on decisions that anyone with half a spine would stay firm about.

But I digress. Not sure if my name was part of an overall joke and you're just throwing up a bunch of names but in the past I was a moderator and administrator of several forums including D'Outskirtz. With the addition of the dearly departed "The Meek One" to the moderating team my services were no longer required nor did I choose to put any more effort into keeping the place from running into the ground which it did shortly after my departure. I'm not saying that had anything to do with it but it seems like more than a coincidence.

During my tenure the place was really hopping with dozens of posts each day about interesting and informative topics and even relationship issues. But it never really had an identity or a purpose, it was a weird mix between serious minded individuals with real problems and a troll board. The two cannot possibly co-exist.

Edited to add. Another strike against @Alticus for randomly moving off topic posts to the Misplaced section while leaving the bulk of them on totally unrelated threads causing almost every single one to derail into off topic meandering BS.
