BigFoot believers like @Alticus think there are large groups of BigFoots. Big ones, little ones all sorts of them. And they go around ripping out trees but are not ever photographed clearly, only blurry bits of fur that could be anything.

All the somewhat "realistic" sightings with "photographic evidence" have all been debunked as fraud.

Yet the obsessed continue to believe. It's just so weird.

But as @Lily pointed out, it IS rather strange that I have no respect for people that believe in this garbage. Others are clearly more tolerant. And I just don't understand.

Take @Alticus for example. When I first came to this board and read some of his posts, I thought "this guy writes well and is reasonably intelligent". We had some decent conversations. Then he goes on a rant about BigFoots and I thought "This guy is a freaking idiot".

Just like that.

I didn't say it was strange. I basically said "to each their own".

I don't think humans become completely worthless over some differences of opinion on subjects that don't matter much.

It's not like he's saying Hitler was the last best hope we had for saving the Western world, as others on this forum do.

Yeah that one's pretty bad. But it still doesn't hold a candle to a belief in families of apelike humanoids hiding in the woods that no one has ever seen.

No, Bigfoot does not exist, at least not as a living creature; there is no concrete scientific evidence, such as bodies, bones, or DNA, to support its existence. The vast majority of "proof," including eyewitness accounts, photographs, videos, and hair samples, has been debunked as misidentifications of known animals, hoaxes, or are simply unreliable. Scientists and folklorists generally regard Bigfoot as a figure of folklore rather than a verifiable biological species

Just based on the sheer science, Cryptoids like "Big Foot" are based off the early Native American myths and bedtime stories. There has never been definitive proof of such a creature ever existing. Like you stated wizer, with modern technology, and man's ever growing reach into all unexplored territories, there should have been more evidence uncovered.

Let's be frank for a minute, you're arguing about the existence of Big Foot with a guy in another thread about being Jewish, which he prolly doesn't know that your mother has to be Jewish for you to be Jewish. It's not something one can just turn on or off.

Onto my next point. Alticus. I've found out a long time ago talking to Alticus is like trying to talk to a chicken with its head cut off. All Alticus wants to do is elicit a response, then delve into his usual stupidity once his three sentence experience with that subject has run its course. Alticus has no redeeming value whatsoever. He's boring to a fault, he's blatantly ignorant, and he's prone to impulse actions akin to a 10-year-old (No, @Admin. you cannot babysit the fictional 10-year-old).

Finally, you must realize that you're talking to a flat earth believer. If that doesn't tell you that there is no rational concept available in Alticus' tiny mind, then I don't know what will. Alticus thinks that winning a debate consists of asking the same stupid already answered question over and over and over. He never cites any factual sources with any of his arguments because he's fucking physically and mentally lazy. That and he just makes up the shit as he goes. For example...

...after Bastard Factory prank called Biggie, Biggie recorded the voice-mail with BF's voice on it. Biggie made it into a Vocaroo and posted it. Someone posted it here. Alticus came flying in wanting to the delete the thread because and I quote,
