I think there was another Church shooting in Texas but the assailant was shot to death by someone else who happened to be carrying a gun in Church.

Seems like places of worship are often targeted by an individual who doesn't particularly agree with that particular group.

I don't know. All I do know is it's really great to read stories such as a recent one where a mom and child were home alone, a guy breaks into the house, they're hiding in the closet, he comes up to the door and she blows him away with a licensed handgun. We need more stories like that.

I also recall reading statistics that in "carry" states where many citizens are armed (and trained), violent crime is significantly reduced.
