A quick trip to the store. So cool to see the trees, vineyards turning yellow and orange. A hard rain predicted for the morning

Probable kidney stone. CT hopefully soon.
If they extract it you should keep it and skip it over a pond. And laugh. Heartily.

Or sign it and add it to Prowler's pucker I need money marketplace craigslist ad meltdown post.

Fuck.... I tried to play on through the first hour and half of work.... you, know.... rub some dirt on it and walk it off... but the pain began spiking, I got the chills, and more vomiting, then couldn't see straight....then dizziness. Dizziness is bad on machinery... I was thinking oh fuck, whatever this is, it's serious. They wanted to call an ambo for me but the hospital was a 5 minute drive... cars aren't machinery though.

Men are utilitarian. We do until we can until we can't and then keep doing until the can't proves us wrong. We are stubborn & bullheaded and when we can't do... we feel useless. I tried to walk off a metatarsal fracture once upon a time.

Lol... I walked down a slope late at night 5 years ago or so without anything but the moonlight... unfortunately, somebody had unbeknownst to me at the time recently dug out an 9 foot drop for a large poly rain tank and poured concrete at the base. Feet came out from under me, spun sideways, dropped that height, and busted a few ribs on the tank or on the slab, I couldn't tell...still don't know it was so quick and hard...

...plus I got the breath knocked out of me for approximately a minute..

Went to work the next day. Took months to be pain free.

This current pain was worse, and made worse by my long-standing refusal to take any over the counter painkillers. I relented by the 6th hour in the ER waiting room, and the pain was marvelously a dull thud after that.

Funny how they give acetaminophen to people with a kidney issue....

Once its about to pass, you are gonna feel a lot of sharp pain at the end of your urine stream. Like you finish peeing.

It sucks so bad but that means its almost over. Hopefully they gave you Flomax. That will dilate your ureter and help a lot.

Lots and lots of coffee and lemon water. Dont listen to people who tell you "dOnT dRinK cOfFeE!!" They dont know.

I know though and im telling you....drink that coffee. Its gonna make you pee a lot and you want that.

Godspeed. I know how bad these suck!

I worked through an hour and a half of it.... got vertigo from the pain.... tools down.... then 6 hours in the ER waiting room curled up, before the stone got to the bladder...

I feel great now. Went to work, worked 4 hours then a manager realized the certificate said 3 days off, and I shouldn't be there.

So I went back to ER reception and batted my eyelashes.... the receptionist got another doctor to bring it back to the 1st day. Came back, dropped it off.... everyone was shocked... and pleased. Everybody off the hook.

And my reputation just shot up.... lol

Now watch for signs of infection. IF you get any... fever, any of it....DONT try to ride it out. TRUST me. I ended up in the hospital for almost two weeks with a kidney infection. It didnt seem bad at first and then it got bad FAST
