Someone mentioned Compton, California.
Funny story. I had just graduated from high school, and for my graduation gift I was given a Volkswagen Rabbit Cabriolet. Cherry red mind you, with a white top. Anyhoo, me and my best friend drove down to Tijuana, Mexico.
On the way down we kinda got lost. It was like a Friday evening in like August around 6pm. I took this turn and was in a place I never knew existed. It was all black people everywhere. In the street, on the side walks, in the trees, etc. So I rolled through some questionable neighborhoods for about 15 minutes before finding the on ramp back onto the south bound freeway.
Nobody even bothered us. Two 18-year-old white gals in a cherry red convertible with the top down lost. Nope, not even a look. Contrary to what they portray on television, Compton isn't that bad if you mind your own business and never go there when the sun goes down.
