After Michael Dell pledged $6.25 billion to help start the "Trump Trust Fund" for children in December, Donald then purchased around $5 million in Dell stock in February.

Wellllllll the Pentagon just announced this week they've given a government contract worth around $9.7 billion to Dell!!!!

Mmmmm mmmm mmmmmmmmmmmm GODDAMN this Trump economy is booming!
There's always payback for these favors.

Still...I think billionaires who donate their own money to the local economy should get a tax break to lower them.

However this should not apply to those who offshore jobs overseas. eg is billionaire John Paulson pledged to create jobs in America but then sent 200 jobs to China. He still got his hefty tax break under the Big Beautiful Bill.

Or Amazon & Meta got massive tax breaks but then slashed thousands of American jobs. In response those companies should have their taxes hiked the following year if they pocket that money instead of trying to improve the local economy

So you agree with protectionism.

Closet MAGA Spotted!!!!
No. Not really.

I just wonder why after being given a $3.4 Trillion tax break under Trumps Big Beautiful Bill why many of these corporations are pocketing all this money instead of creating jobs, improving infrastructure, building factories, roads, schools hospitals.

Here's an example of a MAGA supporter billionaire John Paulson who pledged to create jobs in America, but instead closed his Ohio factory down, pocketed the tax break money and sent the jobs overseas to China (:32 seconds of the clip):

Even the Republican in this video, John Plesnick, states the his party doesn't deserve to be voted in again if MAGA corporatists go back on on the word, lie and don't do anything for the US worker Lex @The Prowler

Plesnick states that MAGA is supposed to stand for 'put America First'. But the Billionaire Paulson puts it last.

That's not productive tax breaks or capitalism. that's just stealing from the worker and the US taxpayer.

If companies don't create jobs locally and ship them overseas or pocket the money, they should have their tax rates jacked right up.

What was it for?

What other companies bid on it?

Was Dell selected because they could provide the best service/product for the best price?

Do you know any of the details?

Sphincter don't need no stinkin' details.

Trump Bad!

"Connect the dots for me"

I'm sure it was a case of best option for the contract just like a guard major like Hegseth was better suited to be secretary of defense over someone that was the 12th commander of CENTCOM, served as the 33rd vice chief of staff of the Army, and commander of the United States Forces in Iraq.

Trump always selects the best lol
