I only ever ate soft pretzels to celebrate sports when my dad took us to Flyers games at the Spectrum in the early eighties.

Hobos sold homemade pretzels outside the complex from a stolen shopping cart in paper bags... 5-6 of them per buck.

Then we'd go inside and raid the free mustard packet dispensers at the hugely overpriced complex food kiosks.

THAT was winning.... even when the Flyers lost. 80's pretzels cart bums were also 1000 times more hygienic than modern Kensington street trash.
 
I just went in my cereal cupboard to take a picture of the bags of oatmeal that I have right now....saw some multi-grain Cheerios...and just finished a big bowl of them.
 
A pizza made with diced up cabbage and beef dumplings, onions, garlic, bocconcini, and some cheap parmesan powder.

The ham I bought just last night from a deli literally went off overnight and smelled like death. I know it wasn't my fridges because I have thermometer alerts that independently track temp fluctuations even with power outages.

Happy to report that the dumplings (dimmies) are quite nice used sparingly on a pie.
