The city of L.A. has spent billions with an average cost $575,000 per one bedroom apartment. They mandate by law that the units have granite countertops, steal appliances, and lots of luxury features for the housing projects but those projects all get trashed in a year or two and get over run by crime and drug addicts. The companies whom get these massive bloated government contracts are either donors or politicians themselves or family of politicians. All the raw materials and finished goods bought at massively inflated costs by taxpayers?
