@Reggie_Essent more proof you're a gullible dumb ass.
Thursday, a 16-year-old shot his way into Silver Rail Elementary School in Bend, Oregon, killing three children and a teacher before a bystander stopped him. Police had not yet named him. Within hours, MAGA accounts posted an image of a random transgender person, claiming they were the shooter.
When the Bend, Oregon school shooter was identified as a cisgender white male, MAGA fell silent, but the shameless posts misidentifying the shooter as trans remain up.
Andrew Pollack, a far-right activist and father of a Parkland victim, wrote: “Can the community here on X do a deep dive on the shooter, John Griffin Jr. III, to see if he was transgender or influenced by leftist ideology?”
The irony: Pollack’s daughter was killed by Nikolas Cruz, a 19-year-old male who was photographed wearing a MAGA hat.
Valentina Gomez, MAGA provocateur with 672k followers on X, posted: “The silver rail elementary shooter is trans. It’s been hours & they still have NOT released his name. Bend, Oregon is full of ugly trans leftists. If he was white, or MAGA, we would have known already.”
Turns out he is not trans, and is, in fact, white.
Evan Kilgore, a neo-N*zi activist with 187k followers asked: “What are the odds the mass shooter who just murdered multiple children at an Elementary School in Bend, Oregon was either: -Trans -On SSRI’s -A radical Leftist Just taking bets…”
Smaller accounts made similar claims, including that it was “another trans shooter” or that “we all already know” he was transgender.
On Friday, Bend Police Chief Mike Krantz identified the shooter as Griffin J. John II, a former special-needs student at the school who was not currently enrolled. He targeted a special-needs classroom he once attended.
Photos from his mother’s Facebook show a masculine, short-haired teenage boy with a mustache. Police, his family, and news outlets referred to him as male. No evidence linked him to being transgender, SSRIs, a manifesto, or any political views. The motive remains under investigation.
According to available data, transgender people are less likely than non-trans people to commit mass shootings
