To be honest, today has been boring. It rained a lot and a lunch we had scheduled got cancelled. But in general, yes happy.

Have you had any revelations about yourself or life in general as a result of the pandemic?
 
i waste less free time doing nothing and spend more time doing outdoors activities

do u get an annual flu shot?
 
no but im certainly skeptical of it, being rushed and all w/o FDA approval

I was lethargic after the first round for several days. I had lucid crazy fever dreaming on the first day and was lethargic again for several days after the second round. The bump on my arm after both rounds was alarming… my body was trying to fight this shit off with everything it has.

are you scared of the delta variant?
 
my shoulder hurt a LOT for two days after each shot (i couldnt sleep on my right side lol) but no bump or bruising so it seems i tolerated it well

but no, not worried about delta, lambda or anything else on the horizon... im desensitized by it all at this point and whatever happens, happens - lifes too short 2 worry about it

no, disease has been around as long as we have even before medical tech was around. i mean we survived the black plague back when 'physicians' would 'bleed' ppl when they were sick lol

Around 24 kms without much water with my missus in the blazing sun. I decided to take her on a specific bush walk and took a wrong turn - it was supposed to be an idle 4km stroll. I wasn’t in the good books for that one. There were others...

Cave diving and swimming with sharks, no. Rooting in the ocean, yes. A little awkward, but fun. Pinel Island.

Have you ever rescued (or tried to rescue) an animal in mortal danger?
 
Yes. I found a kitten in the road while I was riding my bike when was 10. My father thought her mother had been attacked while giving birth since we were up in the mountains that summer and she was sooooo little. Anyways, she didn’t make it and I was devastated. I will never forget her.
