Household division of labor

Who does what chores in your home? Does one or the other get to tell the other what to do?

I do the laundry, some of the cooking, filling the dishwasher when there are dishes in the sink. I also clean bathrooms because I demand spic and span because I'm a germaphobe of sorts.

The guy does garbage, gardening and always empties the dishwasher, and vacuums. We share sweeping and mopping.

I do not take orders from any man though. Never have, never will. I saw my mom go through that shit and a lot of other women in my family as well as family friends.

No can do. My vagina did not come with any cleaning attachments when I was born.

When I was still with the ex, I'd do most of the chores. She was a bit lazy in that regard, so I just did them so things got done properly.

I do or did all of the cooking, shopping, and dishwashing. We do our own laundry. Sweeping and mopping is hers to do. Toilet and bathroom is whoever.

I agree. I don't think she realized how patient I was with her at the time...

We split most things. He's better with a hammer and a saw, though I try to help there, too.

I taught him how to cook many moons ago. He does not remember that fact, though. LOL

I think that's how it should be, a sharing of chores.
