When I first got a computer I had no idea just how small it made the world. I saw people do so many horrendous things. It really woke me up to how bad we humans can be. Also, I saw just how many people can do good things. A real double-edged sword the internet is. You?

The internet has definitely helped me feel less alone or rather less strange and peculiar.

It's one thing to know theoretically that with so many people on this planet there are bound to be others who think like me but it's something else entirely to actually see the evidence of their existence and even interact with them sometimes.

That's a great confidence builder for mutants like me.
