In some of these countries, like Albania, it's my understanding that English is not commonly spoken there. It's probably the same thing in Serbia.

Tropical climates and massive amounts of rainfall in places like Southeast Asia and Central America are also problematic, imo.

Buenos Aires might be alright if it weren't for their economy. I wonder if neighboring countries in some of these places would be better. For example, Uruguay.

Dollars are worth gold in Argentina these days

But I'd definitely consider Paraguay. It's looking a lot better than it used to these days, especially if you find the right place. Just stay away from the big centers close to the borders and you should be good.

Uruguay is too expensive, 1000 dollars might be ok for a single person to live a basic life with no luxuries.
