We all have to contribute. It happens all over the world. I researched it, there is nothing free anywhere.
You can believe there should be freebies somewhere, but that's not the real world.
And property taxes are still deductible from anything they may pay the government in income taxes.
This is literally a non-issue, in my opinion.

People spend their whole lives working and they pay taxes and they participate in the economy and they raise families. They deserve a break when they retire. They worked. They contributed. Let them be done and enjoy the last years of their life without all that. Why is that wrong?
Shit i paid taxes as a stripper, i filed my taxes AND i was honest. I used everything i could as a write off....but i did it. Mostly so i could show ive been employed and contributing.
I have also used food and medical benefits in the past when i left my marriage and struggled with kids. I didnt stay on it longef than nessesary and i have no issue paying in
The property taxes here ....and we just paid summer taxes...are not bad. We pay summer taxes and winter taxes. I think its ridiculous to pay more in taxes than the house is worth and taxes have been paid on this property for more than 50 years by the same family. We should be able to put a fence around our yard for our dogs....but nope. We need permits and we need to use a certain company.
All im saying is, no one actually owns the land they bought. They paid to rent it from the government.
