I wonder why we have so much homelessness in the United States & Canada to begin with Lex @The Prowler
Some people in our countries have so much but so many have so little.
Maybe what's needed is to replace the current taxation system with incentives to spend money where it's needed. That is, raise the taxes on the wealthy /ultra wealthy but then provide them with tax cuts/credits if they spend their money on roads, schools , hospitals , technology , job creation. Discourage land hoarding too.
Under such system even middle income earners could get tax breaks if they contributed to these projects as well.
There seems to be a lot of wealth in the US & Canada but it's poorly distributed.
Even Warren Buffett has called for raising taxes on those making $1 million or more, which includes himself. Bill Gates as well has said the ultra wealthy like him have too much.
