@LotusBud Brazil paid 200 billion dollars in INTEREST on our public debt. When Lula was elected in 2002, Brazil had ZERO public debt and a small debt with the IMF, interest of 5% a year. Lula borrowed money at 20% a year from bankers, paid the IMF and EXPLODED the public debt. 1/3 of our tax money was used to pay interest alone.
