Narrative is everything in today's world where most people get all of their information from a handful of establishment-supporting sources which is why they so desperately need to control all the narratives.
From media mergers and TikTok bans to wars and data centers (AI) as long as they control enough of the narratives their grip on power can be extended for a little while longer... and that's all they really care about.
