I think the stock market will crash by next year if the Republicans lose the midterms because most of its value was propped up by the tech bros association with Trump. But once they begin to lose power they'll pull the plug because they know the party will be over
Apparently when people buy shares in these tech companies these days theyre no longer buying actual earnings or profits, just their Liabilities & debts. so buying s&p is like buying an iou not an asset. so if these companies can't pay back their Investors in a timely manner they'll either default or the ones who survive their share prices will plummet. i think this related to them hanging onto the coattails of the Trump administration. but if the Democrats get back in they may not spare the tech bros another five (hundred billion) of US taxpayer funded lifeline of debt.
