Does the United States need a New Conservative Party?

[Joe]

....instead of the Republicans?

Much has been made about the divide between moderate Democrats & Progressives.

However it seems even more stark on the Right. The current edition of the Republican party doesn't represent conservative values. Many true conservatives in the Republican party are at odds with the Trump administration over no more wars & their budget deficits/ overspending, their close association with Russia Putin & Israel.

Seems it'd make sense if the true conservatives in the Republican party left to form their own & let the Maga Right stay in the Republican party and let them go on their own tangent while the former restore some sanity on the Rght

I would suggest not.
. We need to move forward and leave conservatism behind.
Look at the shit show it's created and ask
if you want more of that.

PS: the Dems will still exist.
Are they really not conservative enough...maybe too much?

PPS: what we actually need is an authentically Liberal party.
Dems are already what is the new conservative party.

But the media and their friends on the right insist that the democrats have gone too left while in actuality it's the Republican party which has gone too far to the right @Holliday 3000

Well, I don't know what they mean by left. When you go full corporatist, cater to special interests,
and engage in endless identity politics, then you've gone conservative.

Watching Holliday and Joe talk about politics is like watching monkeys masturbate at the zoo.

...and that's why you spend so much time at the zoo...at the monkey cages?
. For the masturbation?

Did I ever tell you the story about a famous chimp they had at Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago? True story. They had this chimp at that zoo that would start fondling itself whenever a group of children was brought into the monkey house. I personally witnessed this during a field trip to the zoo when I was in grade school. They eventually had to keep the old chimp in a pen in the back until it died, but to this day is a local legend here in Chicagoland.

I think the chimp's name was Admin.

I'd heard of that or another similar case.
.Must have been a conservative if children
drove it into a sexual frenzy.
Maybe its name was Donald.

Are you calling our Admin. a conservative?! How could you do such a thing to your old pal?
