Tell your stories about being a grandparent.

My daughter came downstairs after bathing my 3 yr old grandson, inquiring as to why he was shitting turquoise :LOL3:
Daddy had given the little guy a cupcake with black icing last night. Hubby had bought a cupcake bouquet for our wedding anniversary.

Remember they have condoms or cod pieces with rigid spikes to deter those money sucking heathens from existing..

Maybe you should have a "talk" first..

This world is no place for children
My daughter wanted kids, I dunno why either. They're done having kids, though. They're just debating who is getting fixed. I told my daughter there are benefits to having a tubal ligation. There are also benefits for the men getting vasectomies. Hoping he chooses to get snipped, it is less invasive and heals quicker than a tubal ligation.

That cupcake detail is a good reminder of how fast things move with little ones around. On the vasectomy debate you mentioned, I've read that recovery is usually just a couple of days with ice and rest, though I have no personal stake in it. It's sensible that they're weighing who goes through the procedure rather than leaving it vague. The turquoise story did make me laugh — grandparents always seem to end up with the funny aftermath stories.

complete bullshit. Took me 6 weeks to fully heal and I had to pull the "self dissolving" stitches out by hand.

Still glad I did it, bit the idea that it's "easy" is a female perpetrated myth.

My Grandson is turning 11 the day before thanksgiving. He just recently got into comics in a big way so for his birthday I am bagging and boarding 11 of my favorite comics that I think he will like from my collection, along with a birthday card/ certificate that while he's 11, every 11 weeks he will receive 11 comics from me until he turns 12.

Everyone's experience is different.
No, it's not a female-perpetrated myth.
