Hahahahaa...I remember this song well. In South Africa we weren’t allowed porn.

...really eh?

What year was that?
Apartheid...through to ‘94. As well as that, no purchase of alcohol after midday on a Saturday and throughout Sunday. Men’s magazines consisted of females in topless bikinis, but the nipples where blacked-out with stars. No matter how hard one scratched, that Bastard black paint would never come off. Hahahahahaa...believe me I tried!

Ohhh...so that's why yer so porn-starved now, eh?

cuz you awere deprived of it as a child.

Yeah, I guess that was the influence of the Afrikaaners, eh?

The Dutch Reformed Church. They were pretty hardlined and ultrareligious from what I heard.
The Dutch were staunch on religion and moral values. It’s all savage and uncouth now. I was never starved of porn, we were just not aware that a female would openly display her bits in a magazine. Later during the teenage years mates would find black market videos and well-paged magazines from their parents closets. My first glimpse of a vagina were from chicks giving the moon irl. Mooning was a very common practice over in South Africa. Nothing would make one’s day, than a car packed with females giving the boyz the moon out of the windows! Aaaaaaaaahhhhhhh

Used to see that in North America too until Woke Culture arrived & the New Puritans moved in.

Totally...forgot to mention...no gambling or casino’s either! However there was a loophole, where one could travel to a particular state within the country, and gamble and watch what we called blue movies. My grandmother and grandfather watched Snow White and the seven dwarves. My grandfather knew it was a blue movie, but my grandmother didn’t and nearly had a heart attack. She came out totally shocked and told us that we wouldn’t believe what the dwarves were doing to Snow White and it was like animals! Lol

Voices Carry (1986)
sung by Aimee Mann

In the dark, I'd like to read his mind
But I'm frightened of the things I might find
Oh, there must be something he's thinking of
To tear him away-a-ay
When I tell him that I'm falling in love
Why does he say-a-ay

Hush, hush, keep it down now, voices carry
Hush, hush, keep it down now, voices carry
Ah-ah

I try so hard not to get upset
Because I know all the trouble I'll get
Oh, he tells me tears are something to hide
And something to fear-eh-eh
And I try so hard to keep it inside
So no one can hear

Hush, hush, keep it down now, voices carry
Hush, hush, keep it down now, voices carry
Hush hush, keep it down now, voices carry
Ah-ah
Oh!
He wants me, but only part of the time
He wants me, if he can keep me in line

Hush, hush, keep it down now, voices carry
Hush, hush, keep it down now, voices carry
Oh, oh, oh, hush hush, shut up now, voices carry
Oh, oh, oh, hush hush, keep it down now, voices carry
Oh, oh, oh, hush hush, darling, she might overhear

Hush, hush, oh, oh, voices carry
Hush, hush, he said shut up
He said shut up
Oh God, can't you keep it down?
Voices carry
Hush, hush, oh, oh voices carry
I wish he would let me talk

The Beginning of the End
by Orchessral Manouevres in the Dark

This is where we start
This now take our hearts
Away

Thus we reach the end
The beginning and the end
You see
I could not try
And here you and i
Parting due to me only
And now

Manic Monday
by the Bangles

Six o'clock already
I was just in the middle of a dream
I was kissin' Valentino
By a crystal-blue, Italian stream

But I can't be late
'Cause then I guess I just won't get paid
These are the days
When you wish your bed was already made

It's just another manic Monday (Woah, woah)
I wish it was Sunday (Woah, woah)
'Cause that's my fun day (Woah, woah, woah, woah)
My I don't have to run day (Woah, woah)
It's just another manic Monday

Have to catch an early train
Got to be to work by nine
And if I had an aeroplane
I still couldn't make it on time

'Cause it takes me so long (Oh, oh)
Just to figure out what I'm gonna wear
Blame it on the train
But the boss is already there

It's just another manic Monday (Woah, woah)
I wish it was Sunday (Woah, woah)
'Cause that's my fun day (Woah, woah, woah, woah)
My I don't have to run day (Woah, woah)
It's just another manic Monday

Of all my nights
Why did my lover have to pick last night
To get down?
(Last night, last night)
Doesn't it matter
That I have to feed the both of us?
Employment's down

He tells me in his bedroom voice
C'mon honey, let's go make some noise
Time it goes so fast
(When you're having fun)

It's just another manic Monday (Woah, woah)
I wish it was Sunday (Woah, woah)
'Cause that's my fun day (Woah, woah, woah, woah)
My I don't have to run day (Woah, woah)

It's just another manic Monday (Woah, woah)
I wish it was Sunday (Woah, woah, woah, woah)
'Cause that's my fun day (Woah, woah)
It's just another manic Monday

If She Knew What she Wants (1986)
by Susanna Hoffs

Oooooh
If she knew what she wants
(He'd be giving it to her)
If she knew what she needs
(He could give her that too)
If she knew what she wants
(But he can't see through her)
If she knew what she wants
He'd be giving it to her
Giving it to her
But she wants everything
(He can pretend to give her everything)
Or there's nothing she wants
(She don't want to sort it out)
He's crazy for this girl
(But she don't know what she's looking for)
If she knew what she wants
He'd be giving it to her
Giving it to her
I'd say her values are corrupted
But she's open to change
Then one day she's satisfied
And the next I'll find her crying
And it's nothing she can explain
If she knew what she wants
(He'd be giving it to her)
If she knew what she needs
(He could give her that too)
If she knew what she wants
(But he can't see through her)
If she knew what she wants
He'd be giving it to her
Giving it to her (giving it to her)
Some have a style
That they work hard to refine
So they walk a crooked line
But she won't understand
Why anyone would have to try
To walk a line when they could fly
No sense thinking I could rehabilitate her
When she's fine, fine, fine
She's got so many ideas traveling around in her head
She doesn't need nothing from mine
If she knew what she wants
(He'd be giving it to her)
If she knew what she needs
(He could give her that too)
If she knew what she wants
(But he can't see through her)
If she knew what she wants
He'd be giving it to her
Giving it to her
But she wants everything
(He can pretend to give her everything)
Or there's nothing she wants
(She don't want to sort it out)
He's crazy for this girl
(But she don't know what she's looking for)
If she knew what she wants
He'd be giving it to her
Giving it to her
(He'd be giving it to her)
(He could give her that too)
(But he can't see through her)
Ooooooh
Giving it to her
Giving it to her now

Sweet Child of Mine (1988)
by Guns & Roses

She's got a smile it seems to me
Reminds me of childhood memories
Where everything
Was as fresh as the bright blue sky
Now and then when I see her face
She takes me away to that special place
And if I'd stare too long
I'd probably break down and cry

Oh, oh, oh
Sweet child o' mine
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Sweet love of mine

She's got eyes of the bluest skies
As if they thought of rain
I hate to look into those eyes
And see an ounce of pain
Her hair reminds me of a warm safe place
Where as a child I'd hide
And pray for the thunder
And the rain
To quietly pass me by

Oh, oh, oh
Sweet child o' mine
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Sweet love of mine

Oh, oh, oh, oh
Sweet child o' mine
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Sweet love of mine

Oh, oh, oh, oh
Sweet child o' mine
Oh yeah yeah
Oh oh sweet love of mine

Where do we go?
Where do we go now?
Where do we go?
Oh, oh
Where do we go?
(Where do we go now?)
Oh where do we go now? (Where do we go?)
Where do we go? (Sweet child)
Oh where do we go now?
Ay ay ay ay (where do we go now, where do we go)
Oh where do we go now?
Where do we go?
Oh, where do we go now?
Oh, where do we go?
Oh where do we go now?
Where do we go?
Oh, where do we go now?
No, no, no, no, no, no
Sweet child
Sweet child of mine

by Chicago (Bill Champin)

When you

me up this mornin'
Told me 'bout the new love you found
I said, "I'm
Please, Log in or Register to view URLs content!
for you, I'm

happy for you"

Found

else
I

I won't be comin' 'round
I

it's over, baby
It's

over baby, whoa

And from what you said
I know you've

over me
It'll

be the way it used to be
So if it's

be this way
Don't

baby, I can take the news, okay

But if you see me walkin' by
And the

are in my eyes
Look away, baby, look away

If we meet on the

someday
And I don't know what to say
Look away, baby, look away
Don't look at me
I don't want you to see me this way

When we both

as lovers
We were

off as friends
That's how it had to be
Yeah, that's how it had to be

I tell you I'm fine
But

I just pretend
Wish you were holdin' me
Wish you were

holding me, whoa

I just

thought
That I

be

so soon
I wasn't

to hear
Please, Log in or Register to view URLs content!
words from you
I know I
Please, Log in or Register to view URLs content!
to be free
Yeah, baby, this is how we
Please, Log in or Register to view URLs content!
it to be

But if you see me walkin' by
And the
Please, Log in or Register to view URLs content!
are in my eyes
Look away, baby, look away
