Anyways, the story happened in Canada.

But the same gender identity issues which have cropped in the States have elsewhere too.

And the same issues you've pointed out about trans being placed into female prisons, potential violence against biological women & trans people invading the personal spaces of biological women such as spas/change rooms are becoming noticeable here.

Just another social trend in many other nations in general.
